Going to a DC United game is always fun-- the screaming fans, the bouncing bleachers, and the top level soccer make for a great time. But the cheering should start before you even get there!
On Wednesday, May 16th, BicycleSPACE's Rolling Tailgate Party on the way to watch DC United take on the Colorado Rapids at RFK Stadium promises to be a loud and crazy affair. Come to the shop decked out in Black and Red and be ready to make a racket as we bike through the city in a huge group while music plays from a bike with a big stereo system.
With a new bridge freshly constructed along the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail, there is now a fantastic connection that makes it easy to get to RFK by bike. And when we arrive, the team wants to receive us in style. There will be plenty of bike parking set up and large Tailgating tents for us to relax before the game. Included in your purchase price, we will be serving food and refreshments. We'll be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs, and will have plenty of pasta and other salads, as well as beer and other refreshments.
When it is ready to head inside, we'll find our way to our section with a great view of the field. Our bike brigade will be ready to make some noise and cheer on the squad!
